Do you realize the bible gives no examples of Jesus bringing people into the synagogue to get them saved or healed? More often than not, those miracles happened where Jesus could be found, in the workplace. These were the places where Jesus found the least resistance, and it was where the power of God was manifested the most.
Of course we should bring people to church, but we need to make it more of a priority to bring “the church” and Christ into our workplace. That workplace can be anywhere, be it in a corporate setting, a home business where we interact with employees and/or clients and customers, or in service-oriented and sales positions where we are constantly in front of new and different people. We should portray Christ in our mannerisms and the way we treat others and deal with situations, even the tough ones.
Listen to the words of Paul found in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.”
Let us always be eager to share the ways God has made a difference in our lives. Let us take “the church” to the people in the workplace by allowing them to see things in our life that can only be explained by the hand of God on us. Let us give Him all the glory for who we are and what we achieve and accomplish.
To God be the Glory; Great things He has done!!
